The KSI 700 inverter power source combines versatile welding technology with over 90 years of experience in submerged arc welding (SAW) at Kjellberg Finsterwalde. With a welding current range of 40 to 750 A and a 100% duty cycle at 40 °C, it is suitable for automated and semi-mechanised welding processes.
In addition to conventional submerged arc welding, the KSI 700 can optionally be used for manual metal arc (MMA) welding and gouging. The CC (Constant Current) and CV (Constant Voltage) operating modes provide flexibility when adapting the power source to different welding applications.
With an efficiency of 88% and a connected load of 39.4 kVA at 750 A / 44 V DC, the KSI 700 combines high welding performance with energy-efficient operation. Its compact design and swivel and fixed castors make it easier to integrate into existing production environments and move between locations.
Combined with the proven KA series submerged arc welding machines, the KSI 700 can be used for a wide range of automated welding tasks. It is also suitable as a power source for collaborative robots (cobots), welding axes and customised automation solutions – including robotic submerged arc welding.
